I was shocked when I walked in my room the smell of smoke and the poor lighting. I stayed at this location years ago and it has went down hill. The second room was tile floor and recently painted but paint splashes all over the floor made it appear dirty and unkept. A worker continued to spray air refresher as if this took away the noticeable poor condition. I asked for a refund currently. I’m staying at Hampton Inn and Suites west. Horrible experience I would not recommend.

I was extremely excited to stay at Sonesta, as we have been using this hotel group, Staybridge which turned into Sonesta since 2009. Sadly this property did not live up to the standard that we’ve come to expect. Per note, they were taken over by a new owner, and I think the area also plays a role, but checkin was a lengthy process, as I needed sign three different papers and was asked to list all guests that would be staying in the suite. I felt like all of the extra paperwork was absurd after a long day, esp being met with a spacious, but dirty suite. As spacious and nicely decorated as the suite was, you couldn’t help but notice, the extra fries, that were left in the utensil drawer that looked like they had been there for months, or the crumbs in the refrigerator, or the coffee stained mugs. It was also very hard to ignore, the fact that out of 3 TVs, only 1 was working, or the fact that we were shorted a towel, or the paint droppings that coated the carpet and steps from the ceiling fan. I just feel like it’s a missed opportunity b/c though the potential is there, it’s so many areas lacking. For almost $200/ night which was a “deal”, I don’t think a clean room, equipped with enough towels, cable, and a hot breakfast or decent coffee is asking too much. For breakfast, there were no plates, cups, or napkins, or waffle batter. All of these items were available upon request from front desk. It seems like the hotel really micro manages the breakfast. Affordable room & deposit (received the next day after check out which was awesome) Only thing was could've been just a bit cleaner, countertops just had leftover sugar but overall it was a nice stay, clean & comfortable bed Cars spaces are super close to buildings which is convenient !! First night was brutal, family above us, kids were jumping off the bed and making lots of noise until 2:00am. Lots of other kids gathered outside and were very vocal. Second night was peaceful.

We had a full kitchen, but there were pieces missing to the utensils and cooking equipment. We had 8 knives, 2 forks and no spoons. There were a few measuring spoons but they appeared dirty. A few of the glasses were dirty too. There was no dish soap or detergent to use in the dishwasher. There was a hole the size of a dime in the ceiling and water was leaking through it and dripping randomly onto the floor in front of the bed (we called and reported it but didn't want the hassle of moving rooms halfway through our stay). One of the closet doors was broken so we couldn't use it. There was only one set of bedding even though there was a sleeper sofa in the room. With all of that said- the staff was great. The maintenance guy saw a car with windows down during really heavy rain and he was trying to cover the windows the best he could until he found out who's vehicle it was (was not listed at the office). He asked my husband to watch him so that nobody thought he was breaking into their car. The room was very clean and it smelled so good! We had privacy, comfortable bed and pillows, well working hvac system and a private little patio my husband could smoke on. Overall, we would stay again, especially for the price.

Toilet backed up had to go to the lobby to remind them my toilet was clogged to have a working toilet. Once he came said he would be right back with a trash bag and we are still waiting for him to come back lol. Hotel served it's purpose

I was never informed that there was no hot water at the property and I feel like I paid what I normally pay to stay there, which is pretty ridiculous. I was there with a baby. I would have just boiled some water to put in the tub and give her a bath, but the tub was filthy. I had to was myself and my baby quickly at the sink for the duration of my stay. The carpet was disgusting. I was pretty disappointed.

The rooms were clean and large the other patrons were very rude in being loud until 2:30 in the morning, the staff was very rude when asked for bowls and utensils at breakfast.
