Not much sleep in a loud motel.
I cannot imagine why this place got 8.4 rating. It is just your usual motel: nothing special. There was quite a bit of dust along the perimeter of the room (meaning, that it did not see a deep cleaning or any thorough cleaning in a while). The toilet paper holder was barely hanging form a cracked section of the wall and there was no sound insulation whatsoever. You could hear every single person/ party go down the corridor AND you can hear people in the next room using shower or flushing the toilet or just talking, which made for a pretty terrible night.

The hotel was generally well cared for. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The A/C in our room was a little loud, and the toilet had a tendency to keep running unless you jiggled/adjusted it each time you used it. The common areas were well kept, and the breakfast was good.
