I got so many bed bug bites on my leg & my husband on his back, it was so bad we took apart the bed at the end of check out & was a little worried … the front desk lady was super scary & abrasive. No “hi, hellos” head down with just look from her eyes peeping over her reading glasses waiting for us to tell her why we came back down here… we thought it was better to avoid conflict:confrontation with her & just check out asap ! BUT THE CAFE LOUNGE IS SO CUTE !!!

The property was perfect for our short trip. It was budget-friendly while also looking clean and modern. The bathroom was beautiful and my girlfriend enjoyed using the bathroom mirror for her makeup. The bed was soft and comfortable and left with no big bites or anything. We would definitely be staying here if we came back to San Diego. Also, the location was great and Tacos El Gordo was a 5-minute walk and Starbread (a delicious bakery) was also a few minutes walk.

Overall clean but a little loud
Overall this was a good place to stay for a short trip. The place is a little loud and you can hear most things that happen in the hallway outside and the room next door. I also did not like the wood blinds and felt like they didn’t provide enough coverage for light and for people walking by. The shower also never really got hot which was annoying. Overall the staff is friendly and the place is clean and undated.
