This was our first time visiting St. Croix and we can’t wait to come back! The staff at The Buccaneer were all amazing. We felt very welcome and cared for during our entire stay. You pretty much have everything you need on the resort, but we had a great time exploring other parts of the island. We were able to arrange taxis directly thru the hotel to get us to dinners and excursions. So glad we chose The Buccaneer for our vacation!

Beaches were awesome. Pools were nice. The service was spotty, everyone was nice, but small things happened everyday that were just odd. No towels one day, no wash cloths one day, no cleaning one day. Everytime we ordered food it was an hour plus wait, seemed as though they were understaffed. The website promised amenities that were not available, golf simulator doesn't work, no driving range, spa only does manicures and pedicures on Saturdays..... Not a big deal but you should not advertise as if it is always available. We enjoyed our time there, just would have been nicer without all the oddities.

We did not receive complementary wine. We were not told breakfast was included. The grounds around the beach were not well kept and I saw trash (discarded solo cups) in same area 8 straight days - never picked up.

The room they tried to put us in at first had leaking ceiling and the bellman told us it was due to dirty vents. The room they them put us in had lots of rust around the bathtub. One of the housekeeping staff and one of the dining staff was very rude and inhospitable. The front desk folks were polite but at times seemed like they didn’t want to be there. For the nightly cost it was DEFINITELY NOT worth it.

Beautiful property with wonderful staff & service. We were married on the property 25 years ago and it hasn’t changed - the natural beauty, amenities and staff but it has been so well maintained. We were back 10 years ago and it really hasn’t changed. Golf course is well taken care and the golf pro Kenny was so helpful and patient. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming.

Loved the views and we were treated to fireworks from the boat parade in Christiansted. Although we were VIP, we didn’t have champagne in our room when we arrived. When we asked the front desk and showed our Expedia VIP reference, they said they had to check their hotel files first. They later confirmed and delivered it to our room. Great fantastic views from the luxury suite. We only had one problem and the front desk adjusted our charges which was nice as we paid over $600.00 a night for our room.
