Convenient position to attend a family gathering. Easy parking and spacious. Easy to book and reasonable rates for the room. Though a little dated, it was warm, comfortable and all you need for a short stay. Clean and good ventilation, everything you need. Friendly welcome and quiet setting. Great value and especially helpful if you have a car (there can be trouble finding car park if staying in city centre).

I'd come to Christchurch just to stay here. First, I loved the property. It was easy to get to, in a great location and just the right size. I wish I could have stayed longer, and the photos don't do it justice. It's just the right size - small and intimate. Cute, sparkling clean, and plenty of lighting inside. I'd almost call it a boutique hotel. Second - and most important - was the service. I reserved earlier that day and got there late after a long drive. The host was happy to let me in and even gave me a better room that fit me better. I got unloaded into the room, and found flowers there. What?? I'd mentioned when reserving that it was my birthday and I was looking forward to the room, and in between the time I reserved and the time I arrived, the host went out and bought some flowers for me. It was the nicest surprise from a complete stranger who definitely didn't have to. It's one of the best birthday presents I've ever received.

Almost dead beds, unhygienic bath cubicle, noisy toilet, age old furnishings. Apart from the location and a very helpful manager, nothing good about this place. Ample parking.

Unit was very small indeed with only two chairs at the table to sit on - a limitation given the room was booked as suitable for three people. Beds were extremely soft. Unit is tidy and a little worn as might be expected for relatively cheap price. People are allowed to smoke on the balcony directly outside the units, which is unpleasant.

Difficult to provide a wholesome review, as we arrived after hours and left first thing in the morning. Host was very accommodating with late check-in, hassle free thru lock box. Host happened to be still up and welcomed us with Wifi password :) Room was nice, spacious and very clean. All up, definitely accommodation I can recommend. Thanks

The bed had a broken leg, we spent 3 nights sleeping down hill until we investigated that the 3 books used to hold the corner of the bed up had fallen off!!!! 4th night slept straight

Was surprised when a neighbouring guest unlocked our room at midnight with his key. He’d picked the wrong room. No harm done but hadn’t realised this could be a possibility. Otherwise we had a comfortable stay and found the facilities very clean and well serviced. The owner was friendly and helpful, allowing us to charge our EV

I stayed for 5 nights. Slept super well as despite being by a main road, the windows kept most of the noise out. Staff were super helpful and away from the main road, leafy suburbia in Spring was a beautiful walk.
