Extremely good value for money on our five night stay. Small kitchen area gave us some options for eating and the proximity of the accommodation to shops and restaurants etc was good. Spacious accommodation with good quality amenities. Walking distance to city centre.

Brilliant for a mum with two tweens. Could not believe how close we were to the town centre - a gentle 12 minutes walk to the nearest tramway stop. Well equipped, clean and super comfortable accommodation.

The security code was a little frustrating when the door wouldn't open. I had given the motel pre warning of different guests arriving at different times, and motel didn't pass on the communication, even after phoning them from overseas.

Older hotel this could use upgrades. Bathroom was small and shower could use some upgrade. With those caveats the place was clean and quiet. Reasonable value for the cost.

We stayed here for a few nights as a base to explore Christchurch before heading home from our holiday. It was an ok place to stay although nothing was replenished during our stay, we ran out of coffee and tea (there was a telephone number you could contact to ask for more but we didn't bother) it is based outside of the city centre and there are a few cafe's and restaurants dotted around. It was quite noisy as our room was facing a busy main road. (It does eventually quieten down of a night.) The place was nice and cosy, shower was good and the room is well equipped for self catering with a microwave and a two ring hob to cook on. All in all a good place to stay for a few nights, nothing fancy but all the basics available including a comfy bed ( could have done with a couple more pillows) and a tv.

We didn't see anyone at reception while staying at this motel or the managers. It was very difficult to check in. After considerable time we were able to contact someone who gave us a keypad code to enter our unit. It is an older motel, which is reasonably clean, it was not as expected. Other guest had the same problem checking in.

We had such a great stay! Vincent and Ann arranged for us to have an easy out-of-hours check-in which was super helpful and stress-free. Prompt responses via email to organise as well. The room was so clean, comfortable and very large! Great location and close to everything. Parking was also available. Definitely recommend! :)

Great room size, with separate lounge/kitchen, bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of parking bays and restaurants/takeaways near by. Access to more supplies if needed without needing staff assistance. Reasonable quiet, even though on a busy road. Older styled accommodation but very well priced for the size and would accommodate a family of 4 easily. More like a one bedroom apartment, with a lounge that would easily fit queen bed or 2 singles. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to friends or family. Thanks Amross Court for a private and pleasant stay.
