Booked Room not available!

The room which was already paid for and even done an online check in was simply given to someone else! Ended up with no room past midnight with family. The staff simply said sorry and couldn't evwn do a refund as they did not have a refund form !!! Such a pathetic service. Definitely would avoid .

The double sofa bed was uncomfortable. It dipped down at one side so didn’t sleep great. Otherwise everything else was fine. We didn’t get a breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Room was cold on entry around 10pm. Put the radiator on to heat the room up which took a few hours . Bedsheets were cold and couldn’t heat up for hours . I was charged £5 per night to park here on a motorway services which didn’t apply before . Iwas told it was a new policy which doesn’t apply if you book direct . I should be able to book with whatever site I chose . I will be avoiding this place and the hotel chain until they review there policy’s . As a principal you should not have to pay parking when the hotel has a large carpark . Just another additional charge to rip people off . Beware.

Just stayed with my two adult girls and was well impressed with our stay. The only downfall was guests doors been left to slam behind them but again not the hotels fault. Overall I’d pay to stay again. Pleasant and comfortable

Angela was less than truthful

Sadly due to the red alert with the storm, my disabled mother and I could not make the trip. We live in Scotland and the alert advised not to travel due to risk of life threat. I called and spoke to Angela who seemed very empathetic and advised that it’s up to hotels to decide if refund is given. This was untrue. In fact it was emails directly received from the hotel Declining a refund signed by Angela. Which generated the rating. I would rather have been told honestly by the hotel than been told untruths by Angela.

We was very impressed by the hotel overall and our room would certainly recommend , the hotel has very good sound proofing because you could not hear any outside / road noise once you walked into the premises/ room
