The room/corridor layout meant we heard everyone exiting and entering at all hours. The constant faffing of ppl trying to lock and unlock the doors (us included!) Was really annoying. Paid for late checkout and both mornings woken up my staff conversations and cleaning directly outside door, could that not have been done in the main stairwell. Considering spa is in the name, we had no slippers or robes whixh we expected in the room. Also an odd thing, but no roilet roll holder. Honestly got a crick in my shoulder having to reach round to find the loo roll so we left it in the floor. The shower was also damaged with atleast 3 dents taken out of the floor surface that were black and it looked like dirt but it was damage. Odd placement of TV. No real wardrobe so clothing visible, no way to control heat of own room, most uncomfortable sofa I've ever sat on!

Lovely room at the hotel. Lovely greeting from reception staff and very helpful. Plenty of parking Large room lovely view to the golf course. Nice soak in the bath and comfortable night's sleep on the king sized bed Handy for chipping Norton and the Cotswolds. Definitely return on way to isle of wight next year😁

Lovely clean and quiet room, plenty of space. Was unbearably hot in the room overnight, radiator wasn’t on but think the studios have underfloor heating that there was no control for so think it was that. Bathroom could do with a shelf by the sink but otherwise perfect.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel, not the easiest to find in the dark maybe some lights on the gate could help but all great when we did arrive. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and we even got a complimentary room upgrade. The room was lovely, the bed was really large and comfortable and toileteries and facilities all great. Lots of parking and just an overall positive experience. I was there for work but would definitely book again.

Spotless, brilliant room (golf view suite). Fully equipped kitchen was great for families. Smart shower room. Very quiet. Staff were hard working, friendly and polite. Breakfast was great and continually refreshed. Evening meal in the restaurant was absolutely brilliant, very well cooked and reasonable price.

For the price of the two night stay at approx £170 a night, I would say the hotel was overpriced. I would have placed the value on the room at circa £100-110, not worth the additional cost especially when the £170 a night also did not include breakfast. Night one - the shower drain was pushed too far in and proceeded through the course of a 10 minute show to flood the bathroom. The tiling in the room is was poor. There was a smell of mould on entering the room, however, we could not find the mould causing the smell. On the second night, the TV signal ceased working and we ended up watching TV on my iPad, to which highlighted the poor quality of interest speed - constant need for buffering and lowering of data quality. Had very high hopes for the Cotswold Hotel & Spa, left certain of not returning.

The hotel bar was way to hot & stuffy , bar staff that was just 1 man was very slow & after he poured the pint he used his finger to wipe the beer over spill from the side of glass & did this on every pint I ordered . The menu for restaurant was not the same as online. I had booked a table for 8:45 and still Had to wait to find the menu had nothing me and my wife liked. The bar restaurant toilets where unclean and poorly serviced , also put notice on door that we didn't need room cleaned but when we come back they had still come into our room. Wouldn't stay again
