From the outside we didnt expect the Ritz....but WOW, did we luck out, this room was fully upgraded, even on the main floor. brand new bathroom with light-up mirror and full size shower with sliding doors. Very chic, we were really impressed!

It's obvious that the hotel is under renovation, and it seems like improvements are being made. However, the piles of both new and used building materials and trash near the parking area are a detractant to the improvements that are being attempted. Additionally, the damaged stairways,flooring and wall board in the hallways, as well as the room doors that look like they have been broken into, create a very poor first impression of the place. While the room we stayed in had recently been remodeled and was comfortable and clean, we did not get a good night's rest due to a very bright floodlight on our balcony casting so much light into our room we couldn't tell if it was day or night outside. In addition to the light pollution making it difficult to sleep, at about 4 a.m. we were awoken by a large vehicle with a loud backup alarm and what sounded like construction crews hauling carts and equipment up and down the stairs. If the motel is going to be open during renovation, improvements to the image could be made by moving construction materials, trash and debris away from and out of view of customers as well as limiting the noise and light pollution during hours when people are trying to sleep.

Great Place to Stay - beautifully renovated room

We were passing through to the coast. This hotel is under renovation and the room we stayed in was beautiful. The bathroom was impressive with an awesome shower. Comfy bed, little kitchenette and large smart TV. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When the place is finished it will be the nicest hotel in Hope. Highly recommended and we’ll use this one again for our overnight stopovers.

Geat Bathroom

Though small, the bathroom was great - love that waterfall showerhead. Big negative was that room had a big window which looked out on parking lot - with cars just outside the window. If you didn't want to be seen - or look at the cars - you had to put the blind down and forego having any natural light. Unfortunately, we didn't look out on the park across the street from the motel.

The hotel is currently being renovated so there was construction noise until about 7 pm. The renovated room was very nice with walkin shower and all new fixtues and flooring. Very nice!
