The stay at Lone Star Inn was okay for the rate paid. We were given a non-smoking room with a king bed that had a lingering odor of smoke. The bed was fine, but the pillows were all too firm. Some softer pillows could have been mixed in. The desk chair had a broken arm rest. The diverter for the shower operation was frozen and locked in place allowing water to only go to the shower head. Need towel racks in bathroom. Need a few more choices at breakfast like fruit, juices (orange, cranberry, etc.), eggs and other protein.

Pleasant stay! Hotel has some older fixtures - the toilet in my room was kind of finicky and required a couple of flushes, and the bathroom fan didn’t work - but those were not too important by comparison. Bed was comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. I also found an easy place to park a big moving truck. I'd gladly stay again.

We stayed at this hotel a month and a half ago in the same rooms. Room 113 had what can only be described as possible bodily fluid splattered on the bed skirt of the bed closest to the door. The bed skirt was still dirty yesterday!! The lady who works the front desk has been VERY friendly both times! Overall the room is mainly clean and comfortable enough for the price you pay. But please check bed skirts and comforters!

You get what you pay for, I guess. Noisy with highway in front. Had to comment in this… when opening the door to check in, the desk guy stated, What do you want??? How rude and professional.

The check in was quick & easy with a friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff member. The room was clean & spacious with nice amenities. We parked right at our door. We're retired & have visited 38 countries, stayed in many hotels in Europe & across the US, including NYC. This room was nicer than most rooms we've stayed in.

All good but the breakfast.
It was a nice place to stay. Breakfast was the only real drawback, white Wonderbread and sugary cereal and teeny muffins loaded with sugar. Usual horrible fare in cheap motels. Otherwise, very nice place for the price.

Good stay for the price.
This is an old school motel. It’s not updated, but worked for what we needed. We were located next to everything and would stay again for the price. They did have shampoo and body wash in the shower. The evening gentleman was so nice, but morning female not so much. Breakfast is basically cereal and toast.

The continental breakfast was non-existent, pre-packaged muffins and bread IS NOT acceptable fare. The shower head pipe moved easily and the TV did not work. Also, the curtain has tears to the liner and the door sill allowed light under the door and made air passage noises with each wind gust.

That was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in! There was a terrible stench as soon as we walked in the door. They tried to mask it with strong perfume. Unfortunately we smelled stench and perfume mixed. After a while the perfume wore off, and all we smelled was stench. It was so bad I could barely sleep. Mold all over the bathroom ceiling, and deteriorating drywall. The shower head was barely attached. I was afraid to take my shoes off and walk on the carpet. We will never stay there again. Don’t book a room there!!
