The area is quiet with easy parking, which is nice but not if youre looking for nightlife or lots of restaurant choices. Parks close though. Price was very affordable but not worth it for the condition of room. Awful stale smell. The loveseat was so old and dirty that I wouldn’t have let my dog lay on it. Bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. The rest of the room was clean but very dated. Front desk staff was friendly. The room served its purpose for the very quick stay to just sleep but would not stay more than one night for the smell alone.

Stay elsewhere unless you’re on a budget.

Upgrading to a suite was only $35 at checkin. However this gave us a bit more space and a completely collapsed couch that was sagging almost to the carpet. Our king bed mattress was worn out and I felt like I was going to roll onto the floor at times. Office chair was tired and stained. The common areas were fine but our rooms were in desperate need of refurbishment.
Worn out couch needs to be replaced.
This office chair was gross.

Our second stay was even better than the first

This was our second year traveling to Chicago and we loved our stay at Travelodge so much the first time we decided to stay again. This stay was even better, and our housekeeper Caroline made our stay extra special. Sh was so kind and helpful from the first moment to the last. She helped us with everything we needed from extra towels to helping plan a special evening for our travel companions who got engaged on the trip. The only issue was one of the three elevators being out of order, but didn't really impact our stay at all. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean, with a little kitchenette. Parking is safe and convenient and right across the street and there are so many activities and restaurants within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here!
