Whitehall was a good hotel in an excellent location. Its not a very amenity filled hotel but its convenient and staff is friendly. Room could be cleaned a bit better, shower was dirty and the sink and shower clogged with every use. Its an older hotel with a tiny elevator, so be sure to give have patience for long elevator wait times during busy check out times. Otherwise we had a good stay. Recommend if only for location and friendly staff.

The a/c didn’t work in our room and they couldn’t fix it. Also didn’t have another 2 bed room to put us in. It’s very unfortunate. When you spend 500 for 2 nights you expect that things like proper working A/C are included.

Everything great,it will be nice to have a microwave,was making sure we had everything when we were checking out and found a sock under the bed (foul smell!) but I definitely go back.

At one point in time this was a very nice property. Unfortunately it hasn’t been very well-maintained everything shows signs of age. The coffee table in my room I didn’t feel comfortable using because I thought that it might collapse. The air conditioner was also loud. And I had to keep the bathroom door closed because there was a clicking sound from the pipes. But that being said it had very tall ceilings in the room was above average inside and it had a very nice desk. If somebody who works when he travels I do appreciate having a surface of which I could work on. I would possibly stay at the property again

Perfect location
Great place, great location! We stay here every 3 months. The staff is super awesome. The rooms however are starting to get a little run down. Wall paper coming off, desk chairs ripped, our tv dresser was scrapped up. I’d say minor touch ups, but still great.

The beds are new and super comfortable, and the halls were quiet. The fitness center was not available, but it is a super nice area to walk or run, as it is just blocks from Lake Shore Dr. I will stay here again!

The parking situation was terrible. I valet parked my car, called for my car at 6:30AM the next day only to wait for 20minutes. Why???? Because apparently, this valet service is not connected to hotel and no one tells you they do not bring your car back to front of the hotel like every other valet service I have dealt with in the past. One has to go walk over to a garage and pick it up at the garage. The attendant was extreme rude as I was trying to figure how to get my car. The hotel staff was not very friendly. I will never use this hotel again.

The location is wonderful. However, the hotel is not in the best shape, the smell of weed was strong throughout, the parking is NOT affiliated with the hotel itself, and no one cleaned our room.
