Cleanliness and maintenance needs to be done. The racks were hanging off the wall for towels not even secured to the wall. Sheets weren’t clean and the air conditioning was on in the room, it’s November.

This property is not ideal for solo travelers, especially women. The elevators are extremely small, and there was some suspect activities going on my first night that made me uneasy. You will hear everything that’s going on in the hallways and adjacent rooms, because the space between the door and the floor is nearly 2inches high. This is a safety issue, as anyone could peak under the door if they pleased. I did not feel safe when I slept here at all. Other than that the staff was friendly.

Hotel was Ok
Hotel was fine for price but no bells or whistles. Sink in bathroom extremely small, if you’re needing to get ready it’s difficult. Elevator situation was very annoying. Only 2 very small elevators, sometimes you had to wait multiple rounds before being able to use, especially if you weren’t on a top floor. Lighting in room was pretty minimal. Beds were very comfortable and location is right in the heart of the Mag Mile!

Hotel Saint Clair review
Hotel Saint Clair is steps away from the magnificent mile. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The room was small and the bathroom very small. It could have used a chair in the room. I would definitely stay there again. The price was very reasonable for downtown Chicago.
