Next time I’ll go to a Hilton. I thought this would be decent for a four star hotel but it was actually worse than the oak brook Hilton which I think has less star ratings. This place also gave us one roll of toilet paper for a three days and it was two people in the room. The bathtub leaked water all over the bathroom floor and the mini fridge did not work. No microwave nothing special. I’ve been to cheaper hotels that were overall better. The parking is also quite a walk so be prepared.

Not to gush, but our stay has been extraordinary in every way. Kristina snd Marco at the front desk provided superb service in too many ways to list for my handicapped husband. The manager of the restaurant made special dinner arrangements for us and our guests, providing us with a table by the fireplace and complete privacy. The abundant woods surrounding the hotel provide beauty and a haven from the chaotic world we live in. Our favorite place on site was the beautiful pool, with no one in it. Shopping is 8 minutes away. We now know we have a place to regroup and relax.

- unfriendly staff - tried to charge for disposable eating utensils when we didn’t have silverware for carry out; pool staff rude about using towels, number of towels (the staff person said it’s one per person and scolded us for attempting to get towels for young children), or setting towels on the wet tile so we didn’t slip - cleanliness - the hotel was still decked in Christmas decor in some areas. It’s late Jan. Felt like the werent on top of decor, and what’s that say about general cleanliness -in room greeting was for someone else, I’m assuming the previous guest. Felt weird that welcome screen on tv and materials weren’t updated to reflect our stay. We at first thought we were in the wrong room

I loved that I got free breakfast because of an Expedia perk. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn’t love that the free parking option was a lot across and a little way the street. On a 10 degree day, all that walking was annoying! And overnight valet is $23, which just seems wasteful. I would definitely stay here again for a staycation.
