I ahd a great stay. I was on the 5th floor so i could tooftop bar music, but i liked it. Rooms are huge. So clean, updated, fridge, window opened. Rooftop bar was very relaxing, great view, adult atmosphere. Id def stay again

I was here for several nights. Housekeeping never showed up. I understand some properties do not have daily service and they advise you of this at check-in. On the third night I asked if I was supposed to get daily service and was informed I was.

The room was nice but we were woken up almost every night by people talking, laughing, and music playing. This occurred at 1 am and 4:40 am. We were also very disappointed to see the “urban fee” added for no reason. We requested to have it removed twice to no avail. We have stayed at the property next door several times. The price is comparable and there is no extra fee. We will be staying at that one from now on.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The vibe is definitely young professional/trendy and there are really no extras. We had friends staying at the same time and one room smelled significantly like pot and the other got quite a bit of noise from the club, even though they were on the 12th floor. My two stays at this hotel have been nice, though probably not worth the price given the lack of anything extra, however it seems like the experience can be hit or miss depending on where your room is

Very convenient location, friendly staff nice rooftop. The room was clean when we arrived but the next day we didn’t receive cleaning service and we noticed in the receipt a $20 dollars for cleaning service. The front desk avoided the charge.

Nice place. Just needs a deep clean in the rooms and some light maintenance. Toilet role holder. Curtains are dusty. Couch felt old. The sheets on the pull out need to be washed. Pizza stains on ours. But great location and staff was wonderful.

Kudos to the photographer. The pictures of the hotel built an expectation that was not meet. This is a party and lounge hotel nothing wrong with that but I was in town for a business meeting. Clearly the hotel was not designed for that; being that the meeting room are located near the lounge and rooftop party area. My room had several issues from a hair on desk by the phone, bathroom door that didn't close/lock. The white shower pan stained yellow by the shower knob, the both TV not working. The "engineer" was in and out of our room troubleshooting with the cable company for over an hour. Not to mention the valet, after texting for my car I had to wait over 45mins. I told the valet I would be leaving around 11pm; I texted at 11:09pm, was downstairs 11:20pm asked where's my car? He asked me if I Texted the ticket # as he opens the podium draw and reaches in the back of draw and pulls out the phone with the text request. You can't make this up. To add insult to injury he was the senior valet on duty and Told him that I would be leaving around 11pm and he was the one who told me to text my ticket # to him... just a peek into my stay a the Godfrey Chicago.
