A real deal for Chicago and a part of history.

We stayed here because of its proximity to Soldier Field and the Museums. We walked there for the Bears vs Seahawks game. The rooms were nice but I couldn’t get past the wad of gum jammed against the wall by the elevator, which is reason for the 3 star cleanliness score. Otherwise it was enjoyable and clean. The Wifi worked great and it was free to me because I was a Marriott Rewards member. Out two teenage boys stayed in the room across the hall and had a great experience.

The hotel is old/historic, but the rooms are small. I was sick and needed a lot of hot water, but they were not so very readily available. Most of it I had to get in the club that I did not have access to. So it was a pain.

This hotel is in a great location , however it feels like it’s long overdue for a Reno - also the staff seemed to care less whether you were there or not- not an impressive hotel
