After reading the reviews, I thought we would give it a try. Turns out, it was exactly as described: Amazing friendly staff. Very clean! And, walking distance to the Art Institute, Millennium Park and Navy Pier. Macy's is just down the block and lot's of places to eat! Will definitely stay there again, the next time we come to Chicago.

Everyone I talked to was great but the property itself is poor. There was brown splatter on the wallpaper in the bathroom, rust around the shower, and the toilet seat looked like it was melting.

This is a wonderful hotel. Very convenient location. Beverly at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

Location was stellar, easy to get to everything. The staff was phenomenal. My biggest complaint is the beds were firmer than I like, and the water could have been hotter, but I like scalding showers and squishy beds, so don't let that stop you.

Second time staying here and it was superb. We love the location and hotel. Noteworthy, the high ceilings, decor, hospitality, easy check in, nearby parking with decent rates for location, complimentary drinks, clean and comfortable room, spacious bathroom, historical character... i.e the old mailbox on the 2nd floor/old elevator buttons, a block from the Bean, and so many great restaurants nearby.
