This was an amazing place to stay with access to everything great Jim pool and hot tub so many internal activities really felt taken care of. And right in the heart of downtown so near everything very walkable or just minutes away from the train.

Im a bit hesitant to share my real opinion of thus place -- in the way that you don't share "your favourite fishing hole". This was absolutely perfect for us. Walkable to so much of city core, but also we were interested in other areas such as the aquarium, beaches, Prairie District which Sentral is very close to. The building/ amenities/ views exceeded expectations. And the staff were awesome - especially Joshua at checkin. THANK YOU so much for a wonderful stay.

I'll start with the good: great location, and wonderful views. Room layout was very nice. Now the bad: Room was dirty. Paint was peeling off one wall. No hand soap. Light was broken and flickered. Additionally, I had issues with parking and front desk could not help. I also asked for late checkout on our last day, front desk said they would find out and get back to me, but never got back to me and we did not get late checkout. Further, the website says "self parking" - but Sentral itself offers no parking. They direct you to a third party valet on the corner, not included with your room. Front desk could not answer any questions about the valet - he just kept saying "you have to go around the corner and talk to the guy". I wound up finding a garage down the street for less than half of that valet per night. Website should say something like "paid valet available" because I thought there would be a hotel parking lot. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

I’ll start by saying that I travel frequently…all over the world and Im super flexible with taking things in stride when something goes awry, but the parking situation was enough for me to want to cancel my stay. It was a nightmare and cost me more than I ever imagined paying for parking and the inconvenience that came with it. Never again! The apartment was nice, even if over priced, but I get it’s Chicago and the location is good. The staff was helpful by phone in the days leading up to my trip but service was terrible from the moment I arrived.
