Filtered selections to pool and hot tub and failed to see the fine print when you scroll alllllllllll the way down after all the ads that the pool is seasonal. So a little disappointed we couldn’t swim. Maybe hotels.com can enhance their system to catch this. Sometimes when you’re traveling and making a choice based on filters you might miss this. Nice hotel though, nice staff, great breakfast spread. AND a fountain Pepsi machine. Whoo hoo

Disappointing and Grungy….stay ANYWHERE else!
We stayed at this location because of its proximity to RTC Great Lakes as our son had just graduated Boot Camp. The location was literally the only thing acceptable about this location. Everything was outdated and worse than that completely dirty and unacceptable. The couch was so disgusting that we had to ask for extra sheets to cover it before we were comfortable sitting down on it, and when I say comfortable, I’m just kidding because it was falling apart and broken. The bathrooms were gross and unclean. The kitchen was gross and unclean. The utensils were gross and unclean. The carpet throughout the entire hotel smelled of mildew and mold. The elevator was completely dirty and always had some form of garbage on the floor. The windows were covered with some type of film that I can only describe as dried milk. We stay at a ton of hotels every year and this is by far the worst we’ve stayed in since the 80s. This place needs a complete renovation and/or to be condemned. Literally stay anywhere else. On a positive note, if you’re looking for good food go to Libertyville, it’s like 10mins down the road and there’s a ton of restaurants. The wicked egg was amazing.

Booked through Hotels.com and when we checked in, the front desk was kind of rude about it and charged an extra $100 which he said will be refunded, but that should be disclosed as many people use debit cards and that’s an extra hold on funds. Rooms were clean but mattresses and furniture was obviously cheap and not very comfortable. Price was fine for the size of the room

The furniture is too old, TV desk even peeled the paint, the bathroom exhaust fan is verybold and noisy. 2 bedrooms next to the big street, you can hear traffic noise when you are sleep.
