The property was great — clean, with spacious rooms. Check-in was very easy and convenient. I also appreciated the cool mini convenience store onsite for picking up items. The valet service was excellent — very convenient and always readily available to get your car. The only downside was the breakfast. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, especially since it was complimentary, but it wasn’t as advertised. It wasn’t labeled as a continental breakfast, yet the buffet was very limited — mainly just bread, eggs, sausage, and maybe some bagels. When I asked about fruit or yogurt or cereal, they weren’t brought out, and we had to leave before anything was restocked. Additionally, the drink machine ran out of apple juice, and the staff didn’t seem to notice or replace it. A lot of food items ran out and weren’t replenished, which made the breakfast experience underwhelming. I understand it might have been due to a larger crowd from a concert or event, but I’d recommend having staff consistently monitor the buffet to keep items stocked. That said, I really appreciated the complimentary coffee that was always available, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. These are just a few suggestions for improving the guest experience.

Chicago taxes ruin the stay in my opinion

Could be a long list but the most ridiculous issue was the bathroom lights coming on in the middle of the night when in use. Great at 2 am and having a blaring light in your face to wake you right up. That had to be the most stupidest idea by someone trying to what save electricity? Then there was the two hour window and only 3 main choices for breakfast which guaranteed close to standing room only. Bed was queen size and for the most part not comfortable. AC was set at 70 degrees and would not cool the room. Another great idea to save the hotel money I guess I really don't blame the hotel for cutting costs as I am sure they are squeezed for every cent with the crazy politics People were fine and friendly, room was big but I have to say again having the lights automatically turn on with a sensor was very upsetting. Had to put a dark sweatshirt over my head to avoid the glaring light in the middle of the night. Whoever made the final decision on the sensors should be fired. I would stay here agsin as the price was reasonable and again I don't blame the hotel for there defiecinecies as probably hard to pull a profit in this city.
