Purposeful False Advertisement.
We ordered a room with the first picture being a room with an open bathroom and jacuzzi next to the bed, I purchased what I thought was the room with a jacuzzi. We end up getting there and the room being nothing close to what was advertised (completely dingy and unclean) and no jacuzzi, the guy at the front desk is very nonchalant about the issue and basically said it happens all the time and we should’ve read the entire room description to make sure the jacuzzi was included insinuating it’s our fault. I just wanted a refund due to the fact there where no open rooms with a jacuzzi until Monday (it was Friday) and it just felt disgusting being in the room I was for that short amount of time we where there, I was then told it would take 3-5 BUSINESS days to get my refund, due to it being Friday I now have to wait 5-7 days until I get my money back, funny how they can take it within seconds but u have to wait a week to get refunded.

Considering that Motel 6 offers lower rates than other motels/hotels, the rooms are good enough to stay in. Most Motel 6s are clean, exist in a safe area, and are convenient to drive to. However, this Motel 6 is substandard! My room reeked of marijuana, as well as the hallways, and the floor was very tacky. My bed did not come with any covers, it was only equipped with sheets….I was unable to get any sleep due to the pungent marijuana smell in my room. Overall, it doesn’t look or feel like a clean Motel. Also, the motel’s Wi-Fi is tremendously slow, where it is unusable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I was given a guest certificate for my dissatisfying experience. So that was a huge positive….. The Motel 6s near O’hare airport provide a better experience. Stay away from this one.
