The hotel was nice. It has a terrance, heated pool, and gym. The rooms were simple, no mini fridge or microwave, beds were comfortable. For some reason the cleaning person kept knocking on our doors in the morning before checking out. The area near the hotel is okay, but if you go towards 7/11 next door there seems to be very shady buisness. Stay was okay but I expected more from the cost of the location.

A little disappointed
We went to get in our room and the inside latch was engaged so we needed to have maintenance called to open the door. Then when we came back from exploring our room had a strong odor of marijuana. I realize that isn’t the hotels fault exactly but it was very unpleasant experience. The beds and room in general were comfortable. The location was good. Also in the description it said the stay came with a bottle of wine which we did not receive.

The layout was very open and easy to navigate, very secure building with lots of options for food within the hotel and outside the hotel, very walkable for the downtown area. Will definitely stay there again

Not a business travel friendly hotel
I had a really bad experience. I came back after a long day of work to find that my room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and they told me "the person that was supposed to clean your room was not there today and we didn't have resources." The front desk was extremely dismissive and basically told me "it is what it is; if you're not happy, go somewhere else." They offered me $50 of restaurant credit. The next day, the housekeeping manager told me that this was not an accurate statement and she had no idea why my room had not been cleaned. Also, this is not a business friendly hotel and I was there for business. There is no coffee machine in the room, there is no room service, and the restaurant does not have a phone. The only way to place a take out order is either online (does not allow for room charge) or to physically show up. The coffee was old and the food was bad. Bathroom had a tub with a curtain and really old fixtures, so was not the luxury hotel it advertised. Overall, I will never stay at this hotel again.

Great, clean, modern hotel in heart of Chicago’s shopping and entertainment area. Very friendly service! Great rooms and bathrooms. Love the morning coffee and just can’t beat the location. Only complaint was to upgrade the bedding and size of pillows.
