We came up for a weekend getaway to celebrate our daughter's 17th birthday. The staff was amazing, the rooms were quiet and comfortable, the bar and breakfast were both great. Couldn't be happier with this Hyatt.

Great hotel

When We arrived we were greeted with a friendliest, nicest Front desk staff… So welcoming! The restaurant the service was mediocre waited about 15 minutes for our drink. The server finally came out and I asked if we could get our drinks at the bar they had been sitting there and he said oh sorry my manager was talking my ear off.. we were not greeted by any of the staff when we sat at the bar for a good 5 to 7 minutes… No one ever came to check on how everything was we had interrupt two gentlemen behind the bar that we're having a conversation and literally dancing, to get our check. They need to work on paid attention to the guest less on conversations with their coworkers.

Everything was perfect. Staff was very nice, super convenient for Ubers, and it’s close to almost everything. Breakfast was disappointing, though. I read a lot of positive reviews about it, but it was almost the same every day. However, it’s good considering that it is included.

Excelente ubicación. Instalaciones limpias y está ubicado en un lugar muy céntrico. Es un poco ruidoso porque está cerca de una estación de bomberos pero te dan tapones de oídos y con eso fue suficiente. Areaa de mejora en el desayuno pero fuera de eso es un excelente lugar. Jennifer en el front desk es espectacular, te ayudará con lo que necesites.

I stayed there for 3 nights for a mini winter vacation, I was extremely satisfied with my accommodation in Hyatt River North, the room was beautiful with a nice view, it was very clean, the staff was very nice and friendly, the check in and check out process was quick and seamless. I will make this hotel my go-to when I go back to Chicago!
