The rooms were very clean and the staff was pleasant. Only suggestion is to have the furnace and A/C dialed down from blowing so hard out. It was loud and woke up my wife and I throughout the night.

The hotel was at the heart of downtown and you can easily walk to anywhere u wanna go in downtown chicago. It felt relatively safe. The room was spacious and pretty but the carpeting needs cleaned or shampooed. It felt sticky. The hair dryer is drybar brand so i loved it. No shampoo in the bathroom. It was empty but the shower gel and conditioner are good. Staff should inform guests about The Corner at the 3rd floor. All of the guests i interacted there, including me, didnt know until we asked where we can use a microwave. It shouldn't be kept a secret

The hotel itself was fine. The shower is a little weird, as it drains straight into a crack in the floor, and its not really on an incline, so the water kind of got everywhere in the bathroom. Worst thing though was the valet service. It's already ridiculously expensive to park in Chicago, and their rate is $78 per night. We had trouble getting our car out one night, waiting for over 20 minutes (the expected wait time). By the time another valet showed up outside, he said he had to check if anyone was even getting our car. It was a mess. Also, the last day of our stay, a marathon blocked off the road the hotel was on, so getting our car out to leave was challenging for the valets. They didnt seem aware and i feel like the hotel could have been more prepared.
