The hotel was clean, but the smell of weed was noticeable throughout the building, which made the stay uncomfortable. The breakfast was extremely disappointing — very limited options and poor quality. If you’re just looking for a place to close your eyes for the night and head out early in the morning, it’s an okay choice. Don’t expect much beyond the basics.

We travelled as a Family of four (3 Adults, 1 Teenager) and the room was fantastic. We are not huge “Downtown” people when it comes to hotels but this one was fantastic. Complimentary breakfast was held in a first class room on the 8th floor where you need your room key for access. What a view and what a room. Having said that the Breakfast itself, while convenient, needs an upgrade. It was virtually the exact same food 5 days in a row. No waffles, not much variety but still hit the spot. Area is not the greatest but never in danger and a lot of pedestrian traffic. You are really close to the Lake and great walking/biking areas and tons of places to eat. Lobby is super busy and at times but elevators are fast and never crowded. Really nice place to stay and aside from loud noises one night we never heard anything after that. Would stay again!!!

Stayed for a week, room was a nice suite. Nice kitchen area with pans and cooking utensils. Staff was friendly but really ignorant. I requested house keeping 4-5 times throughout my stay at around 3-5 pm even verified in person that my room was set to be cleaned throughout the week my room was only cleaned/replenished-with fresh towels and toilet paper twice.

We needed to check in a little early and staff was very accommodating. Room was spacious and very clean. Pool was perfect for a little family time. Many restaurants available in walking distance and we felt safe during our walk to Gino’s! A must while visiting Chicago.
