Nearness to many touristy places, good proximity to transportation network, walking distance to the Blue line via Clark/Lake train station with regular service to all terminals within the O’Hare International AirPort.

The location was very nice; however, we stayed for 8 nights and we received room cleaning service only once. When we arrived the blanket and pillowcases were dirty. The lobby rugs were always dirty, from the moment we arrived until we left; they never cleaned. Home2Suites by Hilton Chicago River North should use real photos instead of renders on Expedia. The staff we had the opportunity to interact with was nice and kind.

Perfect choice for a Chicago weekend
Stayed in a suite with family members. The bell captain was friendly and helpful. Hotel check in and desk is on the second floor, along with lounge and breakfast area. One thing that wasn’t perfect is that in the evenings, large groups would kind of take over the lounge area and porch area and it wasn’t welcoming during those times. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and nicely furnished and welcoming. We stayed three nights on the 17th floor. Great views! Would definitely recommend.

1) noises coming from both sides of the room and we have to compromise and slept as we were really tired 2) room we are switched to, heating didn't work, we did express the concern and they said they will sent an engineer while we were out. The room was still very cold, we compromised and slept. 3) we were held hostage in your parking garage for 30 mins and missed our museum attraction and day went to waste yesterday

The woman at the front desk was phenomenal. She even checked in during our stay to make sure we were taken care of and didn't need anything. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that you would need to prepare cold or microwaved food (sans a corkscrew for our wine bottle). I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the property. However, I stayed for 5 days, 4 nights and my room was not cleaned through out my entire stay. When I called the 3rd evening to let the concierge know that my room had not been cleaned, he notified me that they marked me down as having my do not disturb sign on the door. I was there for a conference where I was out of my room from 7am-6pm every day and never once put that sign on my door. When I notified him that did not happen, nothing was rectified. House cleaning was on my floor at the exact time and still did not come to my room because they were “about to leave for the night.” Although minor, it was very unfortunate and I did not feel that the situation was handled, especially since housekeeping is entering false information.

Home2 is in an area north of the loop where there are many amenities however parking isn’t one of them! Indoor parking for this hotel is a block and a half away and the charge was $50 per day. Public transportation and Uber were the recommended options!

The property seems to have had a decline in the cleanliness over the past year Bathroom shower doors dirty, bathroom floor and kitchenette tile not clean No maid service each day which causes rooms to get accumulating dirtiness Food at breakfast not well stocked and has to ask for restock No fresh water in breakfast area after 10 am
