It is the magnificent mile
Some good views. It's the best location at a good price. The German Embassy is a block away, and I walked down East Michigan to the Museum of Contemporary Art, the beach, restaurants, bars and plenty of high-end shopping. Parking is from $28-70, so shop around. Sadly, the roof pool is seasonal.

I was disappointed in the cleanliness of my room- especially the bathroom. When we arrived there was a lot of hair in the shower, like it had not been cleaned. There was also no soap in the shower. Also the fan in the bathroom did not work and the drain in the shower was not functioning so you stood in water the whole time showering. The walls, ceiling, and floor were tattered and broken in many places and the AC barely functioned.

Ideal location for a downtown Chicago stay. Right by the Magnificent Mile with easy access to shops, dining, and attractions. The front desk staff was welcoming and attentive, and the valet team was prompt and professional, making parking a breeze. Highly recommended for its great location and service.

There was no hot water for two days and the staff could not assist. We were unable to shower the day after running the Marathon. The elevator took 45 mins or more each time you needed to exit the building or go to another floor. We should be credited for not being able to shower.

The hotel did not have hot water on the day of the marathon or on the day after the marathon so that runners and guests could not shower. The staff were unable to help or offer any discount. The elevator in the hotel took over 45 minutes to get to the lobby on multiple occasions. Very dissatisfied with this trip.
