Had an issue, spoke to the front desk. Was informed the general manager was not available that day. Once I called the state police he magically appeared and his office looked like he'd been there all day. Having your staff lie for you is crazy. Staff actually doing it is even crazier, but we all need our jobs I guess.

Property shows signs of age, although renovations are in progress. In room furniture was an eye sore, an a musty odor was present. Staff and lobby areas were great.

The internet service was horrible. The bar was closed down. The advertisement showed a bar and the bar was not open. I came up there to relax for my 50th birthday all the way from Ohio.

I was disappointed. I have stayed at a lot of rooms in the same price range and this was, sub-par. There was a lot of noise. The rooms weren’t clean. There was visible wear. It needs a facelift and soundproofing.

Breakfast was the bets. The staff is very helpful, explained to us how to get to Chicago without driving, and printed out all the info needed to get to the train station.

The bathroom sounded like a constant wind tunnel. Very loud. It sounded like the fan was on but we didn’t see a switch to turn it off. We had to keep the door closed. Also, the internet was awful. The TV would go in and out and I wasn’t able to get much work done either because of this. Not sure if I will visit this location again.
