Mixed thoughts about this hotel…I reserved three rooms for one night. PROS: price, location, overall hotel accommodations. The made to order omelette bar was great (rest of breakfast was not.) Two free drinks and snacks at happy hour. Spacious rooms. Bell hop (luggage storage) was extremely friendly. CONS: customer service was absolutely horrible. 2 out of 5 different receptionists I interacted with were extremely rude. They never had more than 2 people at the desk, usually it was one. Line was very long at all times. I tried calling the front desk multiple times and phone NEVER got answered. My son called for extra towels (three bath towels in each room even though we have four people staying.) they said they would bring them. They never did. He went to the lobby desk to ask for one (he’s 15 and very polite) and they would not give him one and said if he called they would be delivered. They weren’t. When I checked in I double checked they gave us two kings and one double. We went to our rooms and they were all doubles! I went back down to the desk and had to wait 20 more minutes in line to get the correct rooms. They “upgraded” our room to the 11th floor but it was exactly the same. No ice machine of floor 11. The view was comical- do not spend extra money for city view! Air in rooms is extremely dry. Heat never stopped running but was cold in our room. Pool was cold. Early check in charge is $75 if you want to get in before 3:30.

There was no body wash in the shower. The potatoes at the breakfast buffet were cold and chewy, the coffee tasted burnt. Many guests were walking about in their pajamas, in public. #YouGetWhatYouPayFor.

Unfortunately the hotel was in attendance of MANY unsupervised children young and teenagers who were consistently overcrowding the lobby and running ALL OVER the floors. Many of them playing knock and ditch, leading me to make 2 trips to the front desk for security to do something at 11pm! The pool was being used as a bday party with well over 30 people in the pool many children WITH NO parent in sight but coming in randomly to check in on them. Loud screaming throughout the entire establishment. The rooms normally very clean but this round there was popcorn on the couch cushion, a dirty toilet with bathroom residue, and hair on the bathroom shower floor. You would assume for such a beautiful facility and high clientele the hotel would make sure children are accompanied by adults and not let to check and leave children to act like toddlers in a park.

The Embassy had everything that we needed and also offered additional services, that were unexpected! Our room was spacious, had a Fantastic view of the city, the staff was helpful and very nice, the Happy Hour was delightful, the washer and dryer was FREE and the valet parking was convenient and easily accessible!! We will DEFINITELY visit this location again, when we're in Chicago!

Family oriented, breakfast included. Easy in and out access. Secure elevator and parking access. Night front desk staff wasn't as welcoming our checkin night, but the rest of the stay everyonewas great. The buffet staff was helpful, kind, and on top of everything. We had to run the water for a while to get hot water, which wasnt a hige convenience as it worked out after someone came to assess and fix immediately. The carpet was dingy in the room. Overall it was a good price, a good stay, my family and I had a great time and our room was serviced everyday while we stayed. I would book again.

Booking this hotel was my biggest mistake. I spent extra $300 just to park for 3 days. They refused to validate my parking tickets. I paid for 2 rooms but my mom couldnt make the trip, they refused to cancel and refund me for one room. This is a dirty, old, unattractive hotel. I will not encourage anyone to go there
