My husband and I frequent this hotel often, when wanting to get away for the weekend. The rooms are always clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable and the staff is always pleasant. There's always a generous selection for breakfast. It's usually scrambled eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, cereal and great coffee. This hotel is very well maintained. It has a convenient location, with proximity to the 355, I80 and the 294. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from. We consider this hotel to be a hidden gem.

Hidden gem in the burbs
A real gem tucked away in a busy upscale retail and business area. 3 floor lobby with seating area. Breakfast is available with choices for all. Quiet nicely appointed rooms with updated finishes. Excellently managed as everyone seemed engaged with what they were doing. In a face paced environment everyone was friendly.

I think a little bit of work to make a better breakfast would earn them the 5th star. For example, I saw a sign over the waffle maker that says something like add your toppings, while there is no toppings at all, not even whipped cream.
