Worst Western.....Not Best Western
I have stayed at this hotel many times before in the past, but this time I was not happy with what I say and how this hotel has become so run down and not maintained any more. The lobby floors were so dirty and trash cans at the enterance was over flowing with trash. The 1st room on the 1st floor that i was given smelled bad like someone smoked in the room and the window screens were torn away from the frame. The second room I was given the bathroom wall was peeling around the tub and the bathroom door jam was pulled away from the wall. The carpet was dirty and the beds had a dip in the middle. I was so disappointed I wish I could have cancelled right then and there. This place has really gone down. I will never reserve or stay at this hotel again. Wish I could get a full refund or some of my money back. It was terrible I couldn't wait for my 2 days to be over.

I needed to call the police. That’s how awful the staff were. Let me summarize. Uber dropped me off from the airport at this hotel. I go in. Two receptionists barely looked at me to tell me that there was no power, and that I needed to find another place to go. It didn’t matter that I had reservations and that I got no advanced notice. But that is not the issue. The issue is that they refused to do anything to help me find another place or get to another hotel. I explained to them I am new in the country and did not yet have internet coverage in that area to do my own search or get Uber. I asked if they could at the least give me a phone number to a cab service that I can call. NO! These two receptionists refused to even give me a phone number to a cab for me to call. Hard to believe but absolutely true. And in a very rude and uncompassionate way I may add. Hospitality is the furthest place these staffers should be working. I was stuck. So what did I do…..I needed to call the cops to get a number to a cab service to pick me up. Thankfully I had talk service on my phone, otherwise I would have been really stuck, unable to call the cops or a cab. I called the Best Western corporate office to complain, although I couldn’t give them the names because when I asked those receptionists for their names they refused, retaliated with insults then proceeded to call the cops ON ME claiming that I was harassing them!? RUDE LAZY STAFF.
