Unfortunately my experience was not what I was hoping for. I got there the front desk was super friendly, once I got to the room I was so disappointed. Room was dirty, dusty and the pillow case had a burn stain. Headboard of the bed was extremely dusty like it hasn’t been clean in days or maybe weeks. A weird old smell to it. They were able to accommodate me to a different room and I decided to stayed after inspecting the new room and I decided to stay for my two days.

The customer service is excellent at this property. I appreciate the one complimentary birthday beverage at the bar, daily complimentary water, and early check-in. The customer service made my experience with the staff outstanding while celebrating my Bday. The lobby is spacious and modern and there is controlled access at the entrance to the hotel during late night hours; also on the elevator. What fell short were details in the room. The water pressure is very low at the bathroom sink; good in the shower. Our sliding door to the bathroom was off track; fortunately we were able to manually fix that ourselves to enable improved privacy while using the bathroom. There is no iron/ironing board in the rooms. We requested them and they kindly brought them to our room in a timely manner. I do suggest that management or facilties expect the rooms for needed repairs or more detailed cleaning. The linens and towels were clean. However, the window shade in our room had rust stains-- in need of replacement. The sofa in our room was fabric and had visible dust and hair. I suggest that the upholstery be vacuumed/dusted between each room turnover for the next customer's use. What I can share is that the hotel is conveniently located within 15-20 minutes walking distance of many landmarks, restaurants, and The Manificient Mile. The property is NOT a hard no to consider in the future. However, I would book at another nearby property just for comparison during my next trip to Chicago.

First time to Chicago. The hotel was located in a convenient location. Easily walkable and close to public transportation. Room was comfortable and the AC worked great. Check in and check out was easy.

I arrived to go into my room however housekeeping was in there on the phone. Then 30 minutes later after spending the day traveling and the hospital I started to undress & was completely naked & another housekeeping person walked in my room. Then I realized the bed wasn’t even made rite , the sheets were inside out with 2sheets so I had to call the front desk for a blanket which is just awful. 30 mins went by no blanket . I called again and the blanket came 30 mins after that . So it took over an hour to get a blanket I felt humiliated that I was begging for a blanket. I was going to to go swimming but I didn’t even want to take any chance that what else could go wrong . I’ve stayed at this hotel 15 times in 2 years because it’s walking distance from northwestern. I will NEVER EVER COME BACK. !!!
