It would be nice to have rooms with more shelves and places to put things in the bathroom. I realize it's not always practical for one night stays but we were there for 4 nights so a bit more shelving would be nice. Carol was great on reception so a big thank you to her for her kindness. All the staff were great.😃 I'd be happy to stay again. Great location.

I read reviews about this hotel which said it was tired, it was, however it was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice fresh sheets, the bed didn’t have a plush mattress but i found it comfy enough. The shower worked well and i was pleased that there was a grab rail which was also fitted in the correct place. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found it a very convenient location too, easy to find and close to other options for eating . Dobbies garden centre was 3 minutes away so it was nice to look round there as well as have a good breakfast (it had more choice than the Hotel).

Hotel was awful! If you would actually like to sleep in there I would suggest you bring some ear defenders! Not suitable for family's! It's so noisy there was loads of people slamming doors swapping rooms shouting standing in corridors all hours car alarm going off in car park noise of traffic so hot in there. The beds are rock solid. Hadn't been cleaned at all. Still old Walter bottles under our bed, dust everywhere. Will not be returning

One Bugbear describing it as in the northend of Chesterfield. I would have said half way to Worksop on the A619 from Chesterfield.

Cheap for a reason. Very tired dirty. Staff were very good though. Room was dirty and smelt, common areas were the same. Corridors stunk, very musty etc. Had to swap rooms as the window didn’t close, same issue in the new room. Could hear lots of noise from the pub next door for a lot of the night. Please stay somewhere else, really bad hotel.
