The location was ideal for our purposes. The staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our meals(evening meal and breakfast). The only complaints we had were that we struggled to get the tempersture of our room right - the weather was very cold- and the lighting in the restaurant was rather subdued making it difficult to read the menu!

Even after repeatedly asking the staff to clean the room better and change dirty sheets they did not. I would return at the end of a day out to find a mess apart from a bed being made and bathroom cleaned. They do the very minimum and even that is not done well. And this is the same experience every time we stay there! To make matters worse this time we had a toilet that did not work…and even after it was “fixed” it did not work. We changed rooms eventually, but I should think a toilet should always work.

Superb staff, very friendly and polite. Brekkie was extremely good, and well marked out for allergens (one of our party is coeliac). Wine choice a little limited. Soft drinks well priced. Would stay again.

Nearly top notch…
We would have loved to rate Casa Hotel as excellent because the room was lovely - warm and well appointed and the staff were so friendly (especially Hannah, Beth and Abi) Thank you! However the breakfast this morning wasn’t good - we went down at 10am (it finished at 10.30) and they had obviously been very busy, but the lack of all crockery and the fact that the cooked buffet was lukewarm and dried up made it not a great experience - which is such a shame as everything else was first-rate. We would return - but would eat brekky earlier next time!
