Short walk from the station and then into the city centre. Quiet beside the canal. Convenient to use gym, pool and spa facilities. Not the most comfortable bed, adequate, repetitive breakfast (just two cups of coffee, only fat-free yogurt, limited fruit options, same cooked food every day), which is why we chose to eat elsewhere in the evening!!

Mixed bag, okay for the cheap price, but let down by a number of issues: Checkout was at 11 but we were suddenly woken just after 9 by the cleaner coming into our room. Not a pleasant way to wake up. Room facilities were basic: no internet, just regular TV, no bedside lighting. Room itself was comfortable and clean. Non-mixer taps on the sink and bath/shower meant scalding hot water came from the hot tap. Breakfast was included in the price and good quality, but the bowls weren't properly cleaned. Didn't try the spa, so can't help there. Not as nice on the inside as the fancy exterior would want you to believe.

Our stay was comfortable check in was ok could have been a bit more friendly but all other times we interacted with front desk was very friendly and helpful our room was spotless and very comfortable the restaurant's evening menu was was a bit limited but breakfast was excellent with a great choice to fill you up staff at breakfast were fantastic check out was quick and simple will return in the future

Good value for Chester. Friendly and welcoming
Good location only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chester. Swimming pool was good and staff were very helpful and friendly. Some areas of the hotel were looking a bit tired and could do with an update (our bathroom and the restaurant and bar areas)

This is our second visit, we booked the room using Tesco vouchers. Disappointed in the room, felt like we were in the smallest room in the hotel, and it was due to how we booked the hotel ! when you get out the lift it is not even numbered! We were woke at 6.00 am by the noise of the traffic . Our last visit room amazing breakfast amazing however our breakfast was very disappointing and not hot. We had an evening meal in the restaurant due to the weather and it was absolutely delicious.

Excellent location. Close to Bus station, if required. Brilliant for shopping and hotel within five minutes walk of shops. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel pool and gym were excellent. Our room was large and mattress comfortable. Towels changed every day. Breakfast was hot and renewed frequently. Would have been good to have had the option of boiled eggs etc but that is my only criticism! Overall excellent value for money. Definitely recommended!

Check in all good, bar staff just need to know there allergy’s I checked and I could have the crisps they said wasn’t gf but only a minor niggle. Breakfast service brilliant waiter knowledgeable and very helpful with allergies it really does make all the difference. Shame sausages aren’t gluten free. Only criticism was Room was very warm
