Great location for Park & Ride into Chester and super helpful staff. Although clean and tidy, the rooms are close to needing a refresh. Apart from that it was just what we needed at an excellent room rate

The hotel looked a bit run down and in need of refurbishment. The service in the restaurant and bar food area was terrible. I ate at the hotel three times during my stay purely for convenience. The first night i ate in the bar food area and ordered dessert at the same time as my main. My main came out within 5 minutes so was obviously reheated. I then waited 20 minutes after my main was collected and no dessert appeared. When I went to the bar to check where it was they realised that they had forgotten to send the order to the kitchen. On the 2nd and 3rd nights I didnt even get to the stage of being able to order a dessert as I was waiting 20 minutes after i finished my main for somebody to come and clear my plateand take my dessert order. I gave up at this stage and had to go to the till to make payment. Not very impressive!

Awesome staff, good buffet breakfast, large room. No soundproof in my room so could hear alsolutely everything in room next to me. Bar ran out of many alcohols. The access to the pool, spa and gym was nice.

Really lovely weekend. Jacuzzi and pool just what we needed. Loved the fact you could stream from your phone to watch what you wanted. Bed was massive as well

I have enjoyed my stay. It was a little noisy in the night with a buzzing noise but overall staff were lovely and the lobby very nice and well presented. The room was clean and bed comfortable. I booked the hotel at last minute and it was decently priced. I will definitely use again.

Enjoyable stay but a bit dated
Overall the hotel is functionally good and clean but some of the decor is dated and a few cracked tiles etc. Food is average and expensive with the 10% service charge added even to drinks ordered at bar (incidentally I don't like this prices were high enough compared to other hotels to include enough to pay staff adequately and any tips should be under the control of customers for good service). The pool area again was good but busy at times with lessons etc and comes with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Again a little dated/in need of maintenance compared with other hotels but functionally perfectly ok. Next to park and ride which is good for visiting the city. Could have been a 5 with a few changes but gave it a 4 as we did still really enjoy our stay.
