Very Good

We had a suite with 3 beds, sitting area, and kitchen table. Very spacious and comfortable for 3 people. Fireplace was the perfect touch to this lodge surrounded by mountains. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night.
Room was clean. Fresh paint, comfy bed, a cold fridge, and newer showers. The on-site restaurant had good bar food with friendly staff.
I’ll definitely recommend this to a friend.

Disliked: Room comfort
Had a terrible odor like sewer that was in the hallway and into the room at night.
Very small rooms
The outlet in the Bathroom didn't work which made it difficult to do hair etc
No hair dryer in room good thing I brought one
Trash everywhere. Security door didn't lock and the halls and room smelled bad. Bed was comfortable bath was tight had to sit sideways on toilet paper had no place to go. The photos you see are not what you get. Lots of bikers.
We really liked this property- right on the river and a restaurant within the same stay! We didn’t get to try the restaurant but of all our wishes, we’d rather it be clean- and it was! We now have a soft-spot for Maggie Valley, and cannot wait for it to explode with business. Thank you for making our last-minute anniversary stay one to remember!
Entrance to the east hall was "unlocked" with duct tape "to keep the slamming noise from bothering guests". Cigarette smell everywhere. "Keep children inside after 10 pm" signs.
Folks were friendly and working hard to get back after Helene. The restaurant was good and we met some neat couples! Bummer Soco Falls was still closed and we thought we reserved a bottom floor room since we had an elderly small dog. However, we were on second floor inside. Still, we enjoyed the stay!!
The good: the room was huge and well appointed. The hotel is pet friendly and did not at all smell like it!!
The bad; I had to wait forever to find someone to check us in because there was no one in the lobby working. Our room had some maintenance things that could definitely use attention, like the shower access panel laying in the floor, the countertop on the bathroom sink was broken sheet panel in the fireplace was hanging down, etc. we never saw an employee other than the man who checked me in who came out from the restaurant.
Would I stay again? Possibly, the rate was good and the room was huge!
