Big hotel with great facilities
This hotel has a lot of facilities and, for a large hotel, is pretty well located. Lots of free parking. As i write this (09/12/24) there is no EV charging but it looks like they are getting ready to install it. Breakfast is great and chilled out The bar can be a bit chaotic but thats down to the conferences held there, not the hotel. The leisure facilities are nice, great for relaxing after a long day! And you can buy swimming shorts there if you need them. The rooms are air conditioned, but the air con can be a little flakey. The only negative thing i have to say about the rooms is the kettles in the rooms dont hold a lot of water, but it is enough to make a cuppa.

After staying in the hotel for maybe a month now due to work. It seems like the infrastructure and the understanding of who is in charge of what is a complete mystery. The chrome cast never works, their is 2 WiFi signals that are temperamental and don't have a consistent connection and various speed issues. There needs to be an onsite technical person that can troubleshoot the Chromecast server. The same engineer needs to also do a health check of all the access points to make sure they are operating correctly and set to the correct channels. On my recent stays I have to say that Tom has been amazing with his support and doing the best he can to help. I believe the issues that exist need to be resolved by the person who is in charge I.T for this hotel. The cleanliness is also an issue, I have never been to any room that hasn't got at least a minimum of 5 or 6 black hairs on the bed and the bathroom. I was also surprised to see one of the small hand towels covered in either ketchup or small blood stains. I raised this point before and I will say it again. The cleaners need to be spot checked to make sure corners are not being cut.

Improvements needed in the restaurant
The room was really nice, so was the hotel and leisure facilities. The all you can eat breakfast was a real let down. There wasn't enough staff for the amount of guests. There was no milk, the bread bins were empty, no glasses for juice, the croissants that were available were stale and several of the baskets were empty. I went to get fruit and that was empty too.

Weekend away
Hotel was easy to find, the staff were very friendly. My room was clean and tidy, and they provided shower gel, shampoo and hand-wash. Also in the room were tea making facilities, a hairdryer and iron. The only downside is that breakfast was busy on Sunday morning and I had to ask for the milk urn to be topped up. However, it was a lovely weekend and I'd stay there again.

We chose this hotel, even though it was above our price range because of these photos of their USP, the leisure facilities. Imagine our disappointment when they were closed :( No compensation and barely an apology. I'm still waiting for a Manager to ring me

The primary basis for my stay was the location not being to far to get to work. Positives 1. Close to work. 2. Good breakfast. 3. 24 hour gym. 4. Comfortable bed. Negatives 1. The free weight area has been neglected and is rusted up for nearly every machine. The 40KG weights are dangerous because they are not stuck onto the handle properly which I learnt when trying to bench press them.The temperature in the gym is set far to low to the point it's freezing and there seems to be no option to change as all options are locked on the digit thermostat. 2.The bathroom in my room had long hairs sitting within it, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned. 3. There was a ceiling spot light that was hanging by it's wire outside of its frame. I raised this issue being a potential electrical safety issue and the staff offered me a different room so I couldn't fault them on that. 4. The TV had the option to connect a HDMI cable and chromecast but none of them worked. 5. Whenever a problem was raised with the staff, they would respond by saying that maintenance will look into it, but nothing would ever get resolved.

A faulty towers stay
Arrived and person on front desk was missing for a while. Checked in and room was not cleaned from previous guest, provided new room. Pool was shut next day for maintenance, but managed to visit pool after check-in, wasn’t great but acceptable. Dinner was a nightmare, staff must have been new, didn’t know menu or drinks options. Starter was missing bread, mains - 1 was very very salty other was oily. Our mains came out a second time after we’d eaten. Table next to us were have similar problems. A faulty towers hotel - won’t be staying again.

Finding the location is easy and good room space. Only the issue is the bed, it says king size but actually it is twin bed that put together in which the other bed is lower to the other and not comfortable when I am lying on middle of the bed. I feel like I am falling off the bed. It is not a proper king size bed! Not comfortable for 5 days

Nice hotel great leisure facilities stay here every year for work allways have dinner in the bar area and watch sports on the tv s you have in the bar area but been advised by the management that the bar area tv s are turned off at 5 30 pm a lot of hotel guests including myself only book this hotel to enjoy the sports you have in the bar area never stayed in any other hotels around the country that turn off the tv s for the guests at 5 30 pm absolutely not exceptable definitely would not return to this hotel again

Swimming pool cold, hot tub not working properly. Only one glass in a twin room - bins not emptied when serviced. Towel rail not working in the bathroom. Breakfast a disaster. No one replenishing, no plates, no cup, bowls,bread, ,sauce or staff to ask! Everyone complaining, told it was because they were busy and everyone down together but like it both mornings.

Fine for a room to stay in, not for a weekend spa
Luxury feel on first walking into the hotel and the staff were friendly. The spa was terrible, very small, cold pool, the jacuzzi was muggy and the water looked dirty and there were only 2 loungers for a number of people. The gym had good equipment but no hygiene wipes which was a bit grim. I’m not an eco warrior but wasn’t impressed with a piece of dead coral on display in the lobby. We didn’t stay for dinner, the breakfast was nice, although disappointed with watered down squash rather than juice selection. Otherwise a nice clean, spacious room and comfy bed. Absolutely fine for a bolt hole for a night out in nearby Cheltenham, not for a weekend spa break
