Great except breakfast
I specifically chose this hotel because it was listed as new while we were traveling for a soccer tournament in Chattanooga. The hotel was great. The service was great. Only had two issues. The breakfast did not offer any juice because the juice machine was messed up. You can basically only get coffee for breakfast and you couldn't make pancakes or waffles because the pancake machine was messed up. They should probably invest in one of those waffle flipping machines that does not require it to be programmed correctly in order to work. Other than that, everything was great. There is a heated pool we didn't take advantage of. They also offer you the ability to check out from the room but for some reason that did not work for me. Maybe it's because I booked via hotels.com and cleanliness of the hotel was awesome. I highly recommend for a budget minded traveler wanting to get the best bang for your buck. And there are tons of like restaurants and nearby as well as a mall and shopping area

Loved our stay at HI Chattanooga East. I do not normally like Holiday Inn's but this one was exceptional. Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed and the blackout shades were an added plus. If we didn't have an event my husband probably could have slept all day. We enjoyed the outside area around firepit. Met a few quests there and enjoyed an evening of wonderful conversation. My only complaint is the firepit needs repaired. It shuts off every couple of minutes. It is a nice amenity when working properly. Enjoyed our stay!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I had booked a non smoking room as I am allergic to cigarette smoke the told me I booked a smoking room I told them there is no way I told them of my allergy they didn't care they refused to do anything the told me I had to contact the booking site to change it. I told me they had non smoking rooms I checked the room they booked me in I couldn't even walk through the door I sent the next 40 mins reaching out to the booking sight the contacted the hotel they completely lied to them. I gave them back the key got my deposit back and told them that they will not be getting any money for the room as I already contacted my ccrd provider and they will be disputing the charge. Avoid this at all vosts
