We checked out a day early due to our room had not been thoroughly cleaned our entire visit. On this past Saturday we stayed out of the room until after4 pm to give the staff time to clean. When we came back, the room still had not been. There was cleaning staff in the hall and they advised me, at 4:20, 10 minutes and they would be there, at 5:30 or so I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it. At 6 pm a staff member came and did a very cursory cleaning. They picked up the dirty linen and trash, but did not replace the towels or washcloths, did not vacuum, left their cleaning supplies in the room, and did not change any of the bedding or even leave sheets for us to do so. On Sunday the room was not cleaned period. We were advised that since we booked through a third party, Expedia, they would not refund anything. When I advised I’d be sending an email to their corporate office, I was told that their manager would call me yesterday. As of today, we have not received a call. This stay was disappointing.

This hotel stands out from the usual great quality that is embassy suites. The staff was friendlier and kinder. The beds softer and cleaner. Free drinks and snacks at happy hour and a breakfast that was better than i am used to from hotels. The classic Volkswagens in the lobby were fun to see
