Very tired building. First room smelled of an old gym bag. Moved to 2nd room and that wasn’t much better. Ended up not staying

Nice place in a marginal area. walking distance to the Main and Market street with great restaurants, but hard to cross major roads and navigate through the gas pumps and auto shops.

Many homeless people around the property. Tricky to find with the directions but once we did it was no problem. Breakfast hours are very abbreviated (perhaps because of the construction!) Also, breakfast area was crowded with what appeared to be workers.

Facility is being renovated but not comfortable
The hotel is being refurbished, but even in places where that has been completed, it still feels rundown and unsanitary. This is mainly due to the heavy smell of fragrance used to cover an apparent bad smell. Rooms are relatively small, with one chair at the desk and an ottoman. There is no closet, so hang your stuff on the wall hooks. There is a small bathroom with a new shower that creaks very loud as you move as it was installed over an old shower. The exterior facade is rundown and unattractive. The instant you walk in the front door, you will feel like you just made a mistake. The staff and I are sure the owner is kind and friendly, but unfortunately, they can't overcome the poor facility. They would have been better served to gut the whole place and start over. It was not worth the 111 dollars I paid to stay one night. I would rank it on par with a Motel 6 at best. Very sorry to say as the people were friendly.

Not quite what i expected…
The hotel was admittedly in the midst of updating, and even had signs apologizing for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, their courtesy doesn’t quite make up for the condition. Just felt old and smelly. The location had me worried about safety, although it was awesomely yet oddly conveniently located near a lot of great places. I paid A LOT for two nights but felt it was NOT worth it. Won’t book here again. Sorry

Homeless people all around the entrance to the parking lot, the inside is very dimly lit like a shady love hotel, stained carpets everywhere. We had several small roaches and a few large ones in our room as well as stains on the bed and fallen food by the bed stand. Watet was warm at best in the bathroom, and they had noisey renovations going on starting early in the morning. We checked out of our weeklong booked room after the first night and I ate the cost of another room at a nearby la Quinta. Don’t recommend.

It was pretty good for the price. Bed Was comfortable. Staff and breakfast were good.bathroom could have been cleaner. We had a wheelchair room/bathroom and the rubber divider in the bathroom was dirty.
