All the check in clerks at the English Inn need training in being friendly. We stay here often and all have been very unfriendly. They seem annoyed we bother them.

The English Inn is such a cute find- very affordable and clean, has a pool, great front desk staff, wonderful full breakfast, but best of all a quaint charm!

We loved our stay at English Inn. The price was very reasonable. The room was comfy cozy and the bed was more then comfortable. The bathroom was very clean as was the room itself. It was very convenient for our visit to Monticello and the staff was excellent.

The breakfast is one of the best! Many options , fresh & well prepared. The building is very clean, staff are great, rooms are spacious, afternoon tea charming. Only less than great observation furniture (in our room) was pretty worn with one chair being pretty grimy. Bed was comfortable & sheets fresh. They appear to be doing remodeling. Overall for the price a great place to stay.
