I enjoy our stay for 4 nights for a family wedding at English Inn , clean, decent and breakfast is always good and staff are friendly ,plus Budo bagels is just in front, a must try delicious 👌 :)

my husband and i were both aware that there was renovations happening before booking, we didnt mind at all. im a light sleeper and worried about the possibility of the renovation waking me up, but nope. it was no problem at all. i even got to nap during the day both days we stayed. staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was great and plentiful. its located at a perfect distance from everything. some channels on the tv did not work but were not much tv watchers so we didnt mind. it was an amazing experience we will be coming back.

At least we got some money back.

Would have been worse if they hadn’t refunded $50 for our trouble. Gave us a room that sounded like it was under a huge refrigerator unit loudly humming - only discovered when we were trying to get to sleep. Kept banging our shins in protruding bed frames. Room phone wouldn’t call desk. Opened elevator in lobby to step into a lake left by floor mopping. I will say the overnight desk clerk, “Gail” was terrific!
