If you wanna go to a Hornets game, this is the best place to stay. Staff is great and right across from the stadium.

We were told that we would get a room on a “high level” - ended up on the third floor…?! Toilet paper holder was breaking. Only two towels were provided, and we reserved our room for four guests. We requested additional towels, but they never came. No regular coffee provided in the room (decaf only). No additional trash liners provided. We had to hulk-pull down the shades so that we could have privacy and darkness for sleep; they definitely need to be fixed or replaced. On the flip side, one staff member went above and beyond to help me get a cup of coffee after she had put nearly everything in the breakfast area away. She didn’t complain or make me feel like I was a huge inconvenience to her (even though I know that I was)! What a considerate and excellent act of service! Thank you!

I liked that the hotel was next to the Spectrum Center which was where our even was at so we were able to walk. The location to dining areas was awesome also. The location in the center of everything made it awesome.

I booked this room because my wife and I had an amazing experience here back when we were dating. Now it’s just blah. Room was basic, simply had more open space but it was essentially just a regular room. Front desk staff weren’t particularly inviting. No warmth or an inviting nature. The shower water temperature was either extremely hot or extremely cold water with no in between. The highlight was the friendliness of the cleaning staff, the valet staff and the breakfast staff. Other than that, the hotel stay was mediocre at best. You can find a better option for the same amount of money.

We went for the Iron Maiden concert so it was a super convenient location (directly across the street from the Spectrum Center). Valet parking was expensive, but better priced than using the parking garage. The cost also came out of the $50 'incidental' charge so it wasn't really extra money spent. Tha being said, getting to the hotel parking was a bit annoying for an out-of-towner, but it wasn't a mood ruiner. There are food options within walking distance. We went to the Midnight Diner and the food there was wonderful. Everything is a bit more expensive downtown, but that's to be expected for the convenience. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and fresh looking. The sliding bathroom door was unique too. The elevator was picky when it came to dropping us off on our floor using the key card but we dealt with it.

I read some reviews that said the hotel was noisy because I’d the trains. I requested a quiet room and was placed on the 13th floor on the opposite side of the building dorm the trains. I slept quiet well. Not hearing the trains at all. I did however hear the gas powered leaf blowers. Other minor inconvenience was a clogged sink and the restroom near the breakfast area was out of soap all three days I was there. Good selection at breakfast.
