If you need a place to lay your head that is on the west side of the lake, that is a nice place. Room was clean. Owner was very kind.

This hotel is nice, comfy and cozy. Its in a great location near everything, but far enough away to be out of the way. The restaurant has amazing food and the staff are all wonderful.

Did not know what to expect but it was quite friendly, clean, fresh. Room was small but everything needed was available. Bath was clean to. If weather was warmer can sit outside on balcony & hear some island music playing and can see some of Lake Norman. The lake side was quite enjoyable & we would definitely stay again. Just be aware, let them know if will arrive after 5pm.

It was a nice one night stay. The room was perfect for two people. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bed was comfortable and the lake view was nice.

Best Tiki experience!

We went to this cute little motel to escape hurricane Helene. We were greeted by very nice compassionate people. I can’t say enough about how nice they were. The hotel makes you feel like you’re on an island somewhere. It is connected to a marina and there is a restaurant on the bottom level.

Warm and welcoming.

Loved this little renovated motel. It was small but clean comfortable and offered us everything we needed. I love when people take something old and make it new. If road noise bothers you, get the lake side of the motel. Just loved this little place and the view. I will be back.

No empathy for Hurricane Helene victims

I called to cancel reservation due to state declared disaster Hurricane Helene. My children and I had lost my home, belongings, no power, no water, no food, I called to cancel reservation. I had to leave voicemail and got no reply. This business would not cancel and still took the $232.59 for the reservation even though I didn't stay in the reserved room.
