We came to Kannapolis right after a stay at a Comfort Inn & Suites in Maryland and saw a night and day difference. Our room on 1st floor here was clean but very humid and stunk from dampness the entire 2 nights. We bought a room freshener which had little effect. I'm certain the management was aware of it and disappointed that they were renting out a room with such an issue. The other Comfort Inn was pristine , provided service with a smile, and offered complementary bottles of water and cookies when you engaged them. Kannapolis had staff that didn’t make eye contact unless you went to the desk.and can use a face-lift. Breakfast was very good at both locations. At Kannapolis, Donna was a 5-star employee taking care of breakfast for the guests. She's the reason my review is a 3 instead of a 2. Maryland - 5 stars - fantastic Kannapolis - 3 stars - it was okay

Filthiest hotel I have ever seen. Floor was nasty. Drug dealers in the parking lot. Building needs an extreme remodel or tear down.

I have stayed 5-6 times for 2-3 nights at a time at this hotel within the last year. All the staff members are always super friendly and very helpful. The furniture in the lobby area, breakfast area and the chairs in the rooms are old, dirty and worn out. They need to be upgraded. The carpet in the hallways is dirty. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel that offers very good accommodations.

I liked that it is Pet Friendly for reasonable price. What I did not like - very limited eating options, no nearby grocery store, only small convеnience stores. Territory around hotel is terrible, advertized swimming pool does not attract. Both line telephones did not work in the room, I had to go to reception with every questions.

The breakfast was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel over several others b/c it had an outside pool. The pool was closed. We were never told of this prior to our visit and feel we should be compensated for not having this service available.

For the price the hotel was fine. It’s an average hotel that could use some work on the details such as ceiling in bathroom had cracking paint, door to bathroom wouldn’t close all the way, elevator walls had been wiped down but you could see where they stopped due to it being streaked, room had an old moldy smell, etc. Pool was under repair and no where on their website was that mentioned. We weren’t planning to use the pool but if someone reserved expecting to they would have been pretty upset.

A very comfortable place to stay. Shower head was a bit out of control - stiff & cannot be adjusted causing water splashing all over the place. Other than that it is a comfortable inn.
