Was nice for the price. They are still getting put together. It is not a finished hotel. There was a couple sightings of bugs but 1 was dead, hopefully indicating they are working on the issue. I did not notify them of the bug I had to kill because I had already had to change rooms once. My queen bed room was not available due to the door not opening. We had to stay in a double bed room which was ok but there was no compensation for going to the smaller room. The fence outside is broken in areas which looks bad. There were some homeless people who hung out on two of the streets we used a lot when you leave out of the parking lot. The only thing I really would complain about was the food. We bought a giant pretzel for over 10 dollars and it was a regular sized pretzel like one from Auntie Anne's but not even as good. I can't say the rest of the food is bad because we never ate breakfast there. Again they are in the beginning stages of establishing their hotel so I'm sure this will improve. Their staff was really great and helpful. Very close to airport.

At first the outside of the property made it seem dirty and there were broken parts to the building but inside was very nice. It was clean and staff were super nice!

We stay here one night because we had an overnight layover. The shuttle took about 45 minutes to come and then once we got checked in around 11pm we went to hour room. At around 2:00 am we were woken up by someone coming into the room! I obviously freaked out because why would anyone be coming into my room??? I called the front desk and all I got was an I’m sorry, it was just a guest getting into the wrong room but they had a key that worked!. Well turns out that they forgot to mark our room as taken when we did the check in! This is something I feel should not be happening. We had to leave the hotel at 4:00 and after that incident couldn’t sleep more. It was just horrible and it’s something that’s preventable!! I felt like the apology I got wasn’t enough! At first they made it sound as one of the guest making a mistake but it turned out to be the front desk who made the mistake. Definitely not a great experience. I contacted Expedia too because we didn’t know what had happened and were scare to even leave the room!

I have to say that this Red Lion was a big disappointment. The bed was nice but the building was not in very good shape. Outlets didn’t work and both myself and one of the staff were stuck in the elevator at least once, the doors would start to open and then slam shut (VERY unsafe!), the elevator shook and clanked like it was going to drop (I didn’t feel safe in it and started taking the stairs. There were MAJOR problems with the keycards for both my party and several other guests. Card after card was issued and rooms were changed with the same problem. We went through 3 different rooms on 3 different floors trying to find one we could even open the door to. After asking specifically if the breakfast was complimentary and being told “yes”, we found out the next morning that this wasn’t the case. The staff really tried to take care of us but it was clear that the building was in such a state that that they had no control over the problems. They were as frustrated as we were and very embarrassed. We won’t be back!

To whom it may concern, I recently stayed at your hotel from 04/12 to 04/15 and unfortunately, my experience was a complete disaster. First, we had the bad experience of our keys not working upon check in and we had to go back and forth trying keys before the front desk agent actually went with us and saw for himself that it wasn’t working- this was extremely inconvenient after having been on a 7hr flight and the room provided was at the end of the property which was a 3min walk one way (we walked back and forth 4times). Was charged for my stay waaaaay before I ever even checked in. I've stayed at quite a few hotels before and they've never done that, even the Motel 8s. Not sure if that's just this hotels' policy or what but got a notification from my bank about the charge at around 6pm. I didn't check in until almost midnight, that's a whole 6 hours before ever checking in. The $75 security deposit hold required when checking in was a surprise too so I had to move some money around in order to be able to pay it. Then there was an issue on their end with trying to pay it despite there being a pending charge for $75 on the card I used. Tried twice and both times they kept saying it didn't work. Could've simply been I didn't wait long enough for the money to actually be in my account before paying it but once it showed a pending charge on my card then it should've showed on their end as paid. But it will be refunded either way. Bed was comfortable. AC was great and would freeze your butt off in a hurry so that was a plus. The big negative however was when I noticed a rather large cockroach crawling across the nightstand as I was laying my phone down on it. It crawled towards the wall, behind the light and phone then back down the side and out of sight before I could stomp it. Not exactly thrilled about sharing a room with an uninvited guest. Otherwise, for being on the cheaper end of hotels it wasn't terrible compared to other hotels I've stayed at.

I loved the staff . The cook/hostess/waitress was excellent. The first room that we were put me in, the bed linen was dirty, and the room just looked horrible. so we were moved to a better room. I should have been compensated some how for the inconvenience it caused us.
