Auto check-in rip off

The staff were all friendly and pleasant. However, during the online pre-check-in process I was asked for a credit card for "incidentals". Then a $170 charge was put on the card. That's a a lot for incidentals then an additional $50 hold was put on that card as well.

The bed was comfortable and the room had all the basic necessities. On one of the beds there was a metal bar sticking out of the frame. You had to be careful not to run into it. The hallway had the smell of dog urine in it.

The only complaint I had with this property was the beds were hard as a board. Pillows were not good either.

Room was clean, quiet and had a comfy bed. Even though the sign in the hallway said it was a non smoking hotel, the hallway stunk with smoke smell (the room was ok). The outside doors were open, not secured with pass numbers entrance like the desk mentioned when I checked in. Breakfast was very good. Lots of free parking.

This hotel has a bunch of foster kids living in the hotel and they were running up and down the halls yelling and the next morning when I left The hotel had the foster kids cleaning rooms and other areas of the hotel so inappropriate

I got here with my wife and 4 year old boy around 8pm. When we walked to our room, the smell of the kitchen hit us pretty hard. I understand, I worked in a kitchen before. But this one could’ve used better ventilation. We wanted to take a dip in the pool. So we did. That was nice. But the neighbors next to us were yelling and shouting obscenities all night. I called the desk to tell them about it. And the receptionist told me she was alone and couldn’t do anything but give them a call. That helped for an hour until they started back up again. I called the front desk again and the lady said she could only just call the room again. I woke up in the middle of the night because of their yelling at each other. I had to take it upon myself to bang on their door and tell them to knock it off. There needs to be something in place to get clowns like that out of your hotel if they can’t be respectful of the other guests. Me personally I would’ve warned them once and then trespassed them. The front desk put me in a predicament to get into a confrontation. Or deal with the noise.

The stay was good! Service was good ! But the bathroom was dirty there was hairs in the bathtub and dried soap in the side of the tub I had to go but cleaner and clean befire I could take a shower which was inconvenient
