I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Tru by Hilton Mt. Pleasant Charleston. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by Kreston, who was working the first shift. His kindness, helpfulness, and positive attitude truly stood out. His unique phrase, “Stay Blessed and Don’t Stress,” immediately lifted our spirits. It’s rare to meet someone with such genuine warmth.
As we were checking out, we overheard Kreston speaking to a guest arriving after his shift had ended. He was staying behind to personally greet them, as they were coming specifically to see him. That level of dedication and personal care speaks volumes about the kind of service they provide.
Even during breakfast, we saw him outside, and he waved and greeted me with the most genuine smile, clearly happy to see me. His energy was contagious, and it felt like being welcomed by a long-time friend.
Having worked for Disney, where customer service is a top priority, I can confidently say Kreston’s level of care and attention rivals the best. It truly felt like he had been trained by Disney themselves. If more hotels had employees like Kreston, the hospitality industry would be a much better place!
