Quite frankly it was a nightmare. It started with sewer gas in the room, a key that all of a sudden didn’t work after returning from a wedding celebration, a rat seen in rooftop bar and overcharged for an upgrade to have windows. Buyers beware

The Enclave is really unique and beautiful! Jessica and the rest of the staff were amazing. The location is also unbeatable and there are several delicious restaurants nearby.

Great Stay with Tons of Extras
We booked The Vendue based on it's location to the harbor and dining. We were blown away by all of the offerings that the hotel itself had to offer. Daily wine tasting at 4, galery art tours at 5, and a roof top bar overlooking the harbor. The room was clean, comfortable, and were were well taken care of. And don't gorget the mimosa bar on the weekends.

Spectacular location, positioned in the heart of the action, close to the waterfront and Waterfront Park with the Pineapple Fountain. The artwork on display is a scream, from the more traditional work of in-house artist "Fred," to the ultra-kitschy stuff in the main lobby, this place will tickle the funny bone of any art enthusiast. Rooftop bar above offers some distinct views of this rather old (by American terms) town.

This hotel is extremely close to all attractions. The hotel staff were kind, accommodating and the service was wonderful! Our hotel room was clean and well kept and the extra treat provided each day were a sweet bonus! I definitely recommend the Vendue if you’re visiting Charleston!
