Pros: Staff (Sean at check-in was so helpful and kind!); courtesy Jeep shuttle (first come, first serve); breakfast baskets; fresh ground coffee for the room; walkable to shopping, dining, historic section, waterfront; comfy beds, pillows, linens, and robes; nightly reception in the library Cons: Expedia photos of 2BR residences are not accurate (they depict the 3BR residence); the ones on The Restoration website show only the larger, nicer ones as well; no counter space for toiletries in the bathrooms, noisy on weekend nights due to it’s proximity to King St

We loved location and staff. Made use of hotel jeep transportation. Room was clean and spacious and relatively quiet. One down side was the quality of the bath water which seemed to have some rust particles.

The Restoration is the best Charleston has to offer. It has the greatest of amenities like the roof garden and a fabulous location along with the charm of a boutique hotel with wine at 5 and a curated breakfast basket. The staff is amazing! I can’t wait to go back
