If you come to Charleston, this property is a hidden gem! Just a half block off King street shopping and in a neighborhood surrounded by some outstanding eating. Service is impeccable and the grounds have understated elegance. Too many helpful service people to name them all. My new favorite in this city.

Great hotel! Could be greener!

Very nice hotel in a great location- lovely staff and nice breakfast. The one bedroom was perfect for us. Only complaint is a full kitchen but only 2 plates, knifes, forks etc. Also really need to work on being more green - start with recycling! Far too much plastic in the excellent coffee shop

We came for a girls weekend and loved every minute of our getaway and stay at The Restoration in Charleston. The staff was welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay they were polite, helpful and personable. Our room was neat, stylish and accommodated all of our needs. The small touches the hotel provided like the Jeep valet service, homemade cookies and milk at night, and daily breakfasts delivered in a picnic basket made the stay extra special. We visited The Rise Coffee Shop (twice!) and The Watch Rooftop. Both places offered attentive and kind service as well as delicious drinks. Matthew was especially helpful in making us feel welcome and taken care of. The proximity of the hotel to King Street, the City Market and all of the delicious restaurants we visited made exploring the city so easy. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and serviceable. But during our two night stay, one night we showered with cold water and the next morning as well. The building had an issue with their water heating system.

Location is ideal

I ended up with a bonus day in Charleston and I found the room rate to get excellent for the location, the amenities and the room overall. Beautiful room layout, love the bathroom! The rooftop kitchen and bar was fun and had amazing food! Such a great location!

Had the best time in Charleston staying at the restoration. Loved every moment. Had a lovely happy hour every day, wonderful restaurant and coffee bar, the staff could not have been nicer! They have a keep to drive you around to local attractions and dining. They researched and printed out suggestions to on places to go with our child. Loved having an apartment with a full kitchen. We have dietary restrictions and being able to make breakfast or a snack and bring home leftovers made it easy. We will absolutely be back!
